Actor Ezra Miller (The Flash, Fantastic Beasts) has been charged with felony burglary near one of their homes in Stamford, Vermont.

According to a press release issued by the Vermont State Police, Miller was arrested late Sunday, August 7 and charged with felony burglary of an unoccupied dwelling. According to the police report, police have probable cause (including surveillance videos and a statement) that Miller burgled a Stamford home three months prior on May 1, stealing several bottles of alcohol.

According to the Vermont State Police, Miller has been issued a citation to appear at an arraignment hearing on September 26. It is unclear if Miller is in police custody at this time.

This is Miller's third known arrest in 2022, following a March 2022 arrest for disorderly conduct and harassment and an April 2022 arrest for second-degree assault. There is also a temporary order of protection against Miller by the Standing Rock Sioux tribal court on behalf of an 18-year-old person. The actor has also been accused of abusive behavior by multiple individuals.

This latest arrest has renewed the obvious question of how it will affect Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming film The Flash, which is scheduled for release June 23, 2023. Filming on the project reportedly concluded in October 2021, and subsequent delays to the film were said, by the studio, to be related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The current release date was announced after the abuse allegations around Miller came to light, but before the news of these arrests.

Just one week ago, however, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav reaffirmed the company's intention to release The Flash as planned, saying "We have seen The Flash, Black Adam, and Shazam 2. We are very excited about them. We've seen them. We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better."

Another Miller film, a Salvador Dalí biopic called Dalíland in which Miller plays a young version of the famous artist, is also in limbo. The filming for Dalíland concluded in May 2021 but it has yet to be released.
