Station 19 final episode release date: Find out when the Grey's Anatomy spin-off is finally ending

Not even a strong fan campaign could see it renewed.

Despite a strong fan campaign to get the show renewed, the final season of Station 19 is rapidly drawing to a close. Season seven of the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff is due to be the last. It was tied with season one for the shortest season in the show’s run, but when is the final episode of Station 19 due to air on ABC?

Fans won’t have to wait much longer to see how their favorite fire station wraps up all the drama and hookups that have dominated the storylines since 2018. Station 19 season seven – the show’s final season – will come to an end on May 23, 2024 with a final episode fittingly titled “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You”. That certainly echoes the sentiments of many of the show’s fans who have followed it since its backdoor pilot in season 14 of Grey’s Anatomy.

If Station 19 has felt a bit different this year, it is because the show had a big change behind the scenes. Krista Vernoff, who had been the showrunner of Station 19 since season three, left at the end of season six and was replaced by Zoanne Clack and Peter Paige. It also only featured one crossover event with its parent show because of the shorter episode count and the change in showrunners. Most of the cast is returning for the final season except Pat Healy, who has played Michael Dixon since 2020.

The final episode of Station 19 season seven will air on May 23, 2024 on ABC.
