One of the biggest hits of the Winter 2024 anime season was Solo Leveling, a show that took the reverse-isekai formula and gave it a dark twist. Just a few days after the season one finale aired on Crunchyroll, we found out more episodes were on their way, but when is Solo Leveling season two going to come out?
It is a very good thing that the studio confirmed that a second season of Solo Leveling was on its way because the first season ended with such a terrible cliffhanger that fans would probably riot if we thought that was the end. Instead, we’re left with a potentially long wait to find out what happens next since Solo Leveling season two doesn’t have a release date yet.
It is difficult to even speculate when the next season of Jinwoo’s adventures will come out because anime release schedules are often painfully inconsistent. Shows like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime often wait years before getting a new season. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting for the long-promised second season of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt that was promised to us back in 2022, so patience is definitely a virtue for anime fans.
The new season of the show will officially be titled Solo Leveling Season 2 – Arise from the Shadow and Crunchyroll has already confirmed that they’ll be airing it when it does come out. It may even come out later in 2024 as part of a new anime season, but until we get some kind of official announcement we will just have to wait and see how strong Jinwoo can become.
