And the nominees for the 2023 Harvey Awards are...
Every year a select group of comics and creators are chosen as the best of the best in the world of comics. It's time for the Harvey Awards.
It's time. Every year a select group of comics and creators are chosen as the best of the best in the world of comics. It's time for the Harvey Awards.
The Harvey Awards are an annual award intended to recognize the best in comics and adaptations of comics from around the globe. Unlike some other awards, the Harvey Awards is a succinct six-category awards ceremony, celebrating the best of the best in comics - the best book, the best physical book, the best manga, the best children's or young adult book, the best international book - and one additional category recognizing the amazing adaptations of comics to other mediums.
The Harvey Awards is steered by a committee consisting of Nellie Kurtzman, John Lind, and Chip Mosher. This year's Harvey Awards nominees were chosen by a curated committee of comic creators, publishing staff, retailers, educators, and librarians. The nominees will now voted on by comic creators and industry professionals, with those already in the voting pool to receive their ballots by email shortly. Anyone else who is in the industry industry and wishes to apply to vote, can do so on the Harvey Awards' website.
