It was a tough decision for judges Yaya Han, Mads Five and Sameer Bundela but 2022 crown was claimed by the UK champion, Amazonian Cosplay, in her truly impressive Sansa Stark coronation dress from Game of Thrones. The breadth of techniques (including metal working) and stunning hand embroidery blew the judges away. Jack-of-All-Trades Vega representing the Baltic Nations took second place as a Human Ranger from Guild Wars 2, and third place was claimed by Opiekun from Poland with his costume of Geralt from the Witcher 3.
Want to see more like this? The good news is you don’t need to wait long! The Cosplay Central Crown Championships return to C2E2 in Spring with a local qualifier, the US national final and the 2023 Global Final all in one blockbuster event.
