It's that time of year again - time for cosplayers from around the US to put together their best outfits in hopes of taking home the gold in the Cosplay Central Crown Championship. Before the final competition this fall, contestants will have to compete in a series of qualifiers, the most recent of which took place at Emerald City Comic Con. But in case you didn't make it (or you did and you just want to relive the experience), Popverse was there snapping pictures.

At ECCC 2024's Cosplay Central Crown Championship regional qualifier, contestants were broken into three groups based on the builds of their costumes - Armor, Needlework, and FX. Three prizes were awarded to winners in those categories, along with a general first, second, and third prize emcompassing all contestants.

But just because an artist didn't make it into one of these six slots doesn't mean they don't deserve to be on stage. See their dedication, craftsmanship, talent, and impressive stage presence for yourself by flipping through our photographic coverage of the ECCC '24 qualifiers below.
