Celebrate the winners of ECCC 2022's Cosplay Central Championships of Cosplay!
The winners, and photos of the amazing costumes from the Cosplay Central Championships of Cosplay tournament at Emerald City Comic Con 2022
On Saturday evening, Emerald City Comic Con hosted another round of the Cosplay Central Championships of Cosplay competition, and amidst all the great creativity on display, three very creative and hardworking cosplayers stood out as the winners of this year's Seattle semi-finals.
Popverse was at the event, livestreaming the entire competition, taking photos, and documenting the winners. Without further adieu, here are those winners.
The first place winner was May Jean Cosplay, for their Nergigante Armor from Monster Hunter World.
"I am absolutely still in a state of shock… but… I won 1st place in the Cosplay Central Crown Championships at Emerald City Comic Con, " May Jean Cosplay wrote on Facebook. "I’ll be competing in the National competition at C2E2 in Chicago in March 2023. Big thank you to the judges and all of the staff who made this such a great experience!!! And congratulations to all of the winners 💖"
The award for second place went to Faerie Fingers Cosplay, with their amazing Queen Mirellia Q. Melomark from Rising of the Shield Hero.
Jewel Monae came in third with her classical White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.
