It's nearly time to check in.

Fans lined up for John Wick panel in Ballroom 20 at San Diego Comic Con 2023 to catch an exclusive glimpse at the upcoming spinoff The Continental: From the World of John Wick. During the panel, the long-awaited release dates for the show were finally revealed, albeit in three parts. Part One will begin streaming on Peacock on September 22, Part Two on September 29, and Part Three on October 6; an exciting three weeks for fans of the action franchise.

In case you don;t alreday know, The Continental will serve not just as spinoff but as a prequel to the masssively popular John Wick films, focusing on the 'assassin hotel' introduced in the movies. Set during the '70s in New York City, the story will follow young Winston Scott, played by Ian McShane on the big screen and Colin Woodell in the upcoming small screen soirée.

Joining Woodell is a murderer's row of talent including Katie McGrath, Jessica Allain, Peter Greene, Adam Shapiro, Jeremy Babb, and more. Mel Gibson also takes a leading role in the series, which has caused not a small bit of controversy.

Along with being the first to hear the release dates, SDCC-goers were also the first to see footage of The Continental. That footage isn't online yet, but was said to show Woodell's Scott and Mel Gibson's Cormac interacting. Hopefully Peacock will make that available soon.

Popverse saw it and did most of it, and you can find all about our guide to All the big news, magic, and moments from San Diego Comic-Con. And if you want to go to SDCC next year, we have the San Diego Comic-Con 2024 dates as well.

If you're one of the few people that haven't ventured into the World of Wick yet, The Continental might be a good place to start. In fact, it comes first on our chronological list of the franchise, even though it's the latest in terms of release. Learn more in our John Wick watch order.
