One Punch Man manga goes on two month hiatus so artist can make "various adjustments and preparations"
Fortunately, One Punch Man fans are worth waiting at this point

A lot is happening for One Punch Man fans right now. The third season of the anime is on the way and the long-in-development live-action film has gotten a new set of writers. However, the one area where fans are going to be left wanting for the next few months is the manga because the One Punch Man manga is going on hiatus for two months starting in June 2024.
The reason for the hiatus is apparently so that artist Yusuke Murata can make “various adjustments and preparations” for the next few chapters of the manga, though exactly what those preparations are isn’t entirely clear from the announcement. The next chapter is expected to be published on August 22, 2024.
The One Punch Man manga is a remake of ONE’s original web manga with significantly improved art. However, the plot and page layout remain consistent with what ONE originally designed. Murata and ONE originally began publishing the manga back in 2012, with over 200 chapters published so far. It has remained fairly consistent with its fortnightly release schedule, so hopefully this hiatus will only be the two months that have been suggested by the announcement.
In the meantime, we’re still hoping to get more information about the One Punch Man anime’s third season, which has been in development for years now. The second season, which received a decidedly mixed response from fans due to its animation quality and pacing, aired back in 2019, so it has been more than five years since we’ve seen Saitama in action on our screens. We’re still hoping that will change before 2024 is up.
